How can narratives be re-framed and re-drawn to facilitate
a deeper and more engaged relationship with the subject of human destructiveness? What can be learned about how other stories might inform our thinking and communication about climate change?
Marina Cantecuzino: The Forgiveness Project - Sarah Deco - Tessa Gordziejko performs Breath[e]:LESS
Social Dreaming - Discussion - AGM (members only)
The Forgiveness Project is an award-winning, secular organisation that collects and shares real stories of forgiveness to build understanding, encourage reflection and enable people to reconcile with the pain and move forward from the trauma in their own lives. Using narrative learning techniques they present alternatives to cycles of conflict, violence, crime and injustice.
Breath[e]:LESS is poetical-musical storytelling. Much of it is not directly about climate change – although we have created some very specific dialogues within the material – but about anxiety, threat, the passing of time. What happens in our heads is the biggest barrier to actions which could stop climate change. Tessa will perform a selection of poems from the show.
